Sew Dolly Clackett Wrap-up

Well, today is the last day of the Sew Dolly Clackett challenge and I have to say I'll miss it. This is the first dress contest I've participated in and boy did I have fun! I'm still surprised I was able to knock out five dresses and get them posted! Lets see if I can keep the blog momentum up with posting my makes.

As far as the winner, I guess that's to be determined, and no small task that's for sure! Roisin has her work cut out for her. Take a look at the dress pool to see what I'm talk'en about but be forewarned of stimulation overload, plus the danger of racking up your fabric list with all the fabulous frocks! Man, there's a lot of awesome sew'en go'en on!

Out of the five dresses I entered, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, I can't even pick a favorite. I'm glad I'm not judging this contest. Some of the dresses I adored, (and this is only some), are:

BarbaraJaneMade's What dress to wear to a lobster picnic lunch?

SewingPies entry #3.

Scruffy Badger Time's Happily Ever After Dress.

A Colorful Canvas's I'm A Bird In Paradise Dress.

And a bunch of Emery's by happypopmelon23, (can't find a website).

This is only to name a few. Seems every time I take a look at the pool I see more and more, plus there are entries still pouring in... ... ... good gosh!

  2. Hi, I'm a fellow Sew Dolly Clacketter and found you from Sarah's blog - FIVE dresses - well done. They are all beautiful, and the Hetty cardigan is now added to my to-do list. I think my fav is the Purdy Burdy dress, and the styling is fab x
