A new local yarn store opened up in town and I knitted one of Rebecca Danger's monster chunks, (a free pattern you can download here) as a gift. The yarn store is sponsoring/participating in a collecting knit items for the families affected by the Oso mudslide, and I made some squares for the afghan/blanket project. Feels pretty good to use something I enjoy for others.
